Yoga Challenge of the Week: Cow Faced Pose (Go-mukha-asana)

Oftentimes, yoga poses are named after parts of nature. In this case, the pose is supposed to look like a cow's face! This pose is more challenging because it helps with shoulder and hip flexibility at the same time. Try it out!
Sit on the floor. Fold the left leg in. Then fold the right leg over the left so that the right knee is above the left. The gap between the knees looks a bit like a cow's mouth!
Take your left arm over your head and reach the left hand to between the shoulder blades.
Then take the right hand behind your back from underneath. Hook the fingers together.
Switch sides.
DO: Look straight ahead. Keep one elbow pointing to the ceiling and the other elbow pointing to the ground.
DON'T: bend forward
