Yoga Challenge of the Week: Frog Pose

Did you know that in classical Indian music, a note is inspired by the croaking of frogs? Sages used to enjoy the sounds frogs made and would observe the way their legs bent. The pose itself has many benefits, including how it strengthens the ankles and knees.

  1. Lie on your stomach

  2. Bend your knees. Place your palms on your feet. Turn your wrist so that your fingers point in the same direction as the toes

  3. Press your feet downwards and raise your chest off the floor. Look up

DO: Keep the stomach on the floor and chest off the floor

DON'T: turn your fingers sideways
